Hello all,

I had my MGB on 11/10 at DRH and have really had no problems. Lost 37lbs

already! Went onto soft solids on day 6 and after 13 days tried the Turkey

and no problems.Six is last night and did'nt feel a thing! Just

kidding, I DO NOT drink anymore. I'm pretty much eating anything now except

solid red meat. Maybe next week.

Anyways, the only complication from surgery that I have is that the two

outer fingers on my right hand always feel like they are sleeping? You

know, very little feeling, especially in the baby finger. RR said at clinic

that its somewhat common and should go away but to let him know. Its now day

16 and its the same. Apparently its a pinched nerve in the elbow from being

strapped out onto those side boards in the OR. My Chiropractor says they

should redesign the boards to have a slight incline.

Has anyone experienced this problem?

Whopee !!!!

You're doing the best I've heard ever, except that you've got some circulation

problems... I've personally never heard of that but there is probably someone

out there that has.

My advice to you is to call Dr. R. again, and ask him!

with my operation and start on a new adventure of life. Hope you continue

to do good. I just need to know if you would do it again and was there much

pain. what did you think of the operation. I know it has not been long but

Hi congrats on your weight loss. I am no doc but you may have an Ulnar

Nerve Compression. I had that once. Not sure what caused it..but mine went

on and on...they finally had to do surgery to decompress it. I am sure yours

isn't to that point. I could of cut off my little finger and the one next to

it and not felt a thing. Prior to having the problem I did have a bout of

pneumonia...and was in bed for an extended period of time..so I guess I

could have done it then. Hopefully it will subside in a short period of

time.
