Guest guest
I have a DS turning 2 this week. I'm discovering he has extreme issues with just about everything...carotenoids, phenols/salicylates, sulfur and now possibly oxalates. Of course he also doesn't tolerate dairy, wheat, soy, corn, rice, eggs. We started SCD on Aug. 1. He only eats meat and homemade pearsauce as so far these are the only things that do not bother him. Does anyone have a list of all these, some of these, the foods and the levels of the offender? I'm sure this doesn't exist, but thought it would not hurt to ask. I just started to create one myself but it's taking forever and I'm only up to six foods. I think zucchini might work out so we will try that next...in his meat. Bananas should also be okay if we can just get him to eat them. Thank you!
Guest guest
I have a few websites that have salicylate info and 1 of them has amine info also. http://www.zipworld.com.au/~ataraxy/Salicylates_list.html (This has the amines info also.) http://users.bigpond.net.au/allergydietitian/fi/sal.html http://www.plantpoisonsandrottenstuff.info/content/elimination-diet/salicylates.\ aspx (This one mentions phenols and sulfites.) http://www.purr.demon.co.uk/Food/Salicylate.html If you try zucchini, double peel them or in other words peel plenty off. The highest concentration of salicylates is closest to the skins. I don't know what I would do without pearsauce. I'm trying to stock up for the out of season times. Hope these websites help some. You will probably have to cut and paste the links. Bonita Son Intolerate to Almost Everything (Cross Post) I have a DS turning 2 this week.
