Guest guest
Hi everyone, Just a question - what does the progurt starter have for strains in it? I got a yogurt from Whole Foods today that had just acidophilus in it so I thought that'd be fine. We'll see if it helps! I've been doing the scdophilus for about a month now and making gains. Guest guest
Hi Liz, A true yogurt or true yogurt starter consists of S. thermophilus and L. bulgaricus - it must have these two strains for SCD. For SCDers Elaine wrote that we may also have L. acidophilus or L. casei in our starter as optional strains. Progurt has S. thermophilus and L. bulgaricus and L. casei.
