173 8 weeks ago.....trying to not go to hospital til CT Scan is seen

for my GI appt Wed.....very nauseated most of time .....ate only a

bananna am and 1/2 can beans yesterday....couldn't eat more ....NO

appetite......had turkey pot pie lunch(no no?) and filled me up and

some stomach pain. , as well as pelvvic pain.....does your cp affect

quality of your sleep???? Last time I drank alcohol was

1986.....wonder about elevated calcium levels causing hardened

pancreas? Do many of you also have gerd , stomach ulcers along with

cp? Appreciate if some of you would give me a list of " specific "

foods I can safely eat without causing pain! Most of my bad pain is

knot up in center hietal hernia area. I guess maladsorption syndrome

is common to all of you. WE NEED some amt protein....how do you get

yours? What are the safest foods that will put on WEIGHT for me??? I

REALLY thank any/all y'all for taking time to respond to my

concerns. Hopefully I can be there for some of you once I find out

what is going on. And all this stuff about PIC lines, etc. Do any of

you have a GI stomach port where you are fed liquid nutritionals.

If/when I go to hospital, I read where they will give me fluids for

4 or 5 days IV to rest my pancreas. True? My dad had a permanent

port in his stomach when he had alzheimers and couldn't swallow

food. Thanks for comments so MUCH! Shybasset/Charlotte NC
