Guest guest
Hi all. I actually have been seeing a specialist in Philadelphia for a couple of years now. Have not been diagnosed yet but he seems to think chronic pancreatitis is what I have and yet...not able to diagnose it. I've been told I may have to wait for years. I am only 30 and have been ill since I was 27. This has left me unable to work or do too much of anything and I am unwilling to simply sit and wait. I am thinking perhaps I should find another doctor (this one is my 3rd already but...). I won't give up my current one but perhaps someone else may know or see something this one does not? Anyone have advice? Also, I was thinking there must be someone good in NYC. Can someone tell me how you go about finding the top docs in this field?? I have no idea how or where to start. Is there a web site i can search on?? Thanks in advance and hope everyone is as well as possible.
Guest guest
Hey , I'm in the same area, NJ, and I am also looking for someone, so if you find one, please tell me and I will do the same for you. Sound good? Eileen
Guest guest
Will do. I have a friend whose father is a doctor in NY (pathologist..no GI) so he is looking into whether he knows of anyone or even just what some good hospitals are. I'll let you know if i find someone good. > Hey , I'm in the same area, NJ, and I am also looking for > someone, so if you find one, please tell me and I will do the same for > you.
