Guest guest
on cp in that your experiences have been numerous and profound!!! I can completely understand about wanting a quality life with no meds, but you are willing to have daily naseau and barff 10-20 times a day.....I can believe that your stomach and diaphram from that much barffing would be very " raw " . Congrats on trying not to be a burdon on family by expecting their participation....you seem to be also of strong will mentally. Yes, I will write you @ email for thoughts on food choices...thanks for your kindness! Shybasset
Guest guest
Am I willing to barf all the time...well, yes and no. I wake up with nausea as soon as I get up and around, the pain kicks in...am I willing to live this way? I accept that this is my life right now. Where I am now, is the TP/ICT or the Whipple, or nothing, or maybe a long term stent. Phenegren doesn't always stop my barfing, just the nausea. I barf from the gastoparisis (mostly). Food sits in your stomach for days, you barf. My food can not go " over the hump " , That's why we are thinking about the whipple. Its a direct dump, no hump needed! lol. You are correct in that I am raw, thus, the thickening in the distal esophogus......lol I am strong willed, too much so for my own good, but it has saved my life one more than one occassion. I think your mind and spirit must remain strong in order for your body to be the best it can be. For diet, I live a lot on potatoes, rice and 1/2 a bagel. I eat real food every couple of days. I plan it. Everything must be very calculated. It's not as big of deal as it sounds barfing like that. Barfing up spuds is just like barfing up bananas. No acid. They taste the same going down as they do coming up. There for a long time I was on Protonix 2x a day. That stuff is awesome. I do not look at it as burdening people (as far as healthcare goes). I see it as my responsibilty. Not burdening someone...
