WHY wouldn't a CT Scan with contrast dye.................

possibly NOT pick up a pancreas with a problem??? Kathleen,

interesting that yours did not and blood work showed it. I had an

endoscopy/colonoscopy 2 1/2 yrs ago.....one small benign

polyp.......Katleen and others.....over last 6 months I've been eating

a LARGE amt(as a snack) of Kellog's whole wheat flakes

cereal.....because I thjought the fiber would keep me regular....could

the wheat consumption so much have possibly brought on pancreatitis

(gluten, etc)? Thanks

OUCH! Fiber and my pancreases do not get along. can't diegest it. One of my

pancreases was behind my stomach. They had to put a balloon down there to keep

it from attaching itself to my tummy. Who knows why it didn't show up? It never

has. I can't tell you why. I was born with this and no one knew it till now. I

am 36. scan after scan, nothing every showed up (except the bad kidney)..it was

not until ercp and eus...my doc was so shocked to say the least-Kathleen
