Guest guest
I LIVE on pain meds. I don't know what I would do without them. My pain level is so high that even with a 75 Fentanyl patch I am always about an 8 on the pain scale. Also, I eat a small breakfast and small dinner. No lunch because I am home alone and making lunch is just too hard for me to do. No matter how little or well I eat, my blood sugar is usually around 385 in the morning and at dinner time. So, I just take my 16 units of the fast acting insulin twice each day. I can even NOT eat ANYTHING for two days and my BS will still be that high. So, for an experiment, I got this box of Poppycock with cashews (it's like a caramel corn and the whole box is 750 calories of practically all carbs) and just ate the whole thing in one sittiing! What was my BS after this? 385!! No kidding. So it matters not what or what not that I eat, I will always get the same result. Any ideas as to why this is so? Am I now insulin resistant and don't produce anymore? Anyse
