Guest guest
I am having a hard time with supplements. I tried the GI-Pro Health SCD Legal multi and couldn't tolerate it as well as all the other multi I have tried pre SCD. Here is one from the Allergy Research Group that they say is well tolerated by sensitive individuals. Can some one look at the ingredients and let me know if it is a legal supplement. They have two. One without copper and iron but has vit c. This one has copper and iron. Serving Size 1 capsule Servings per container 150 Amount per serving: Vitamin A (as Retinyl Palmitate) 2000 IU Vitamin D3 (as Cholecalciferol) 100 IU Vitamin E (as DL-alpha-Tocopheryl Acetate) 80 IU Thiamin (as Thiamin Hydrochloride) 20 mg Riboflavin (as Riboflavin-5-Phosphate) 10 mg Niacin (as Niacinamide) 30 mg Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine Hydrochloride and Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate) 31 mg Folic Acid 60 mcg Vitamin B12 (as Cyanocobalamin) 80 mcg Biotin 80 mcg Pantothenic Acid (as Calcium Pantothenate) 100 mg Calcium (as Calcium Citrate) 50 mg Iron (as Ferric Citrate) 4 mg Magnesium (as Magnesium Citrate) 50 mg Zinc (as Zinc Citrate) 6 mg Selenium (as Sodium Selenite) 40 mcg Copper (as Copper Sulfate) 0.3 mg Manganese (as Manganese Citrate) 3 mg Chromium (as Amino Acid Complex) 80 mcg Molybdenum (as Sodium Molybdate) 40 mcg Potassium (as Potassium Chloride) 20 mg Boron (as Boron Citrate) 200 mcg Vanadium (as Vanadium Pentoxide) 40 mcg PABA (Para-Aminobenzoic Acid) 40 mg Glutamic Acid 40 mg Other ingredients: Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide. Guest guest
Hi, Doreen, I'm sorry you're having such a hard time with the multivitamin. The additives you posted are all legal. However, Elaine did not think supplementing iron was a good thing to do. Have you tried the Freeda vitamin Elaine recommended? or any of the Kirkman products? mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
