Guest guest
Chrissy, I was like you last week... all bloated, gassy, & in pain. My boss told me to go home or to the hospital and get some relief. I ended up taking some Oxycodone and it really eased the pain. This week I have been fine. I have been able to maintain my weight for the last 7 months now. I am much better off also than before I had the TP/ICT. I still don't know how I went through all that pain before and made it. My family is doing really well. My son just started kindergarden and my wife is about 3 months pregnant! We wanted to have another one sooner but with my pancreatitis she didn't know how I would end up. She really didn't think I would make it out of it. I can see her point! How have your blood sugars been lately? Have you had to up your insulin or anything? Are your islet cells still working o.k.? I have had to up my Lantus every month 2 units except for the last 3 months. I am now at 21 units of Lantus and 1 unit of Humalog per 15g of carbs. Well I hope your pain subsides real soon. It gets really old and is hard not to be depressed about it. Think positive and take care of yourself! Darren
