Hey all,

Just came back from the psch doc. Due to all this I am unable to sleep

and depressed. He gave me a prescription for Klonopin. ANyone have any

experience with that? He said it will help me sleep and help with the

anxiety I have been having.

Also, is there a connection with wheat intolerance/allergies and

pancreatitis?

Eileen,

I had a TP/ICT two and half years ago. A couple of months ago I found out

that I have celiac disease, an intorlerance to wheat. The doctor at this

time said that this could have been what caused my pancreatitis. She also

has another patient who initially presented with pancreatitis. They later

learned that she had celiac. This patient's pancreatitis is fine as long as

she eats a gluten free diet (one without wheat).

Eileen:

I take Klonopin to sleep also. It is the only way I can sleep. The

pain meds keep me awake and I have insomnia anyway. It has been a

lifesaver for me.

Hope that helps
