Guest guest
Hi List, This might be a great way to show the benefit of SCD for older children. I am forwarding a message from another list. Mimi --------------------------------------------------------------------------------\ ---------- Hello everyone: The Loyola University Home-School-Community Collaboration Research team would like to invite you to participate in our survey examining the adult outcomes for children with emotional and behavioral problems. Click or Copy/Paste this Link to View and Complete the Survey:http:// www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=u_2bLGyFoul0s4UTz1aUprDg_3d_3d (This link is also available under the Links Tab under " Adult Outcomes Survey. " ) The Adult Outcomes Survey is designed to collect some information about you, your child aged 17 or older who experienced childhood behavioral or emotional problems, your opinions about your child's adjustment to adult living, as well as the home and school interventions your child received while growing up. There will be NO identifying information collected, not even your IP address or any online nickname used on this site. As a parent or caregiver of an adolescent or adult with emotional or behavioral problems you may already know what research has found: that emotional and behavioral problems place a child at greater risk for school dropout, juvenile delinquency, violence, and adult crime. There has been little research on what interventions or factors in childhood lead to positive outcomes for children with emotional and behavioral problems. The purpose of the Adult Outcomes Survey is to find out what interventions, activities, programs, and experiences your adolescent or adult child had while growing up as well as to gather your opinions about your child's adjustment to adult living. The information you provide in the survey will be used to draw conclusions about factors in childhood that seem to lead to positive and negative outcomes in adulthood for children with emotional and behavioral problems. The membership of this online parent group and the few other parent groups included in our study potentially represent the largest accessible group of parents whose adolescent or adult children have been affected by emotional and behavioral disorders. THEREFORE, we REALLY NEED YOU and everyone you know with an affected adolescent or adult to participate. I sincerely hope you will take the time to respond to this survey. It is estimated that the survey will take 1 hour to complete. FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE, IF YOU CANNOT COMPLETE THIS SURVEY IN ONE SESSION, YOUR RESPONSES WILL BE SAVED AND YOU MAY RETURN TO COMPLETE IT LATER PROVIDED YOU RETURN TO THE SAME COMPUTER TO COMPLETE THE SURVEY. Sincerely, Satchwell The disclosure of the following information is required by Loyola's Office of ResearchServices: If you have questions about this study, please contact or Martie at the emails or telephone numbers given below.
