Guest guest
Kimber, My pharmacist is a very conservative person. I love her to death!! It is a personal/professional opinion that 120 of vicodin a month is too excessive. Not the tylenol. She considers the narcotic too much unless you have cancer or such.. I am on my second norco 10 of the day and I feel so sick. Can't think, feel nauseous (sp), cna't focus on much of anything. I HATE pain pills. But I hate the pain even more. I wish I could just live on my C2 and be done with it. Low sugar and cold caffine. MAkes taking the pills better. And yes I know about caffine being bad for CP and SOD but have never been affected by that so I am lucky. ALl I want to to do anymore is drink my C2 and leave the food alone. But then I have to take a pill or two and I feel sick and need to eat something to make it all better. Guess I sholdn't complain. Things could be worse. Sandy in Ca -------------- Original message -------------- Sandy, I think you need to ask why your pharmacist thinks 120 vicodin a day is excessive. She could be thinking that the amount of tylenol in the vicodin is too hard on the liver, not that the amount of narcotic is excessive and that's why you got two different answers. Guest guest
Lots of pharmacists say we shouldn't take the dosages we take if we don't have cancer. That's a lot of dootie. Let them have some pain. People who say these things, medical professionals, do not have the training or experience to say them. Just because you have a pharmacy degree does not mean you can PRESCRIBE. Only doctors do that. Only docs have experience with chronic pain patients and can make that determination. Pharmacists do not do residencies working with patients. All they know comes from a book or a prof or a drug company. And the drug companies spend millions on pharmacists in training. Bottom Line: A pharmacist is not qualified to prescribe. Jerry/NC *************************************** > > Kimber, > > My pharmacist is a very conservative person. I love her to death!!
