I can understand how as ones pancreas continues to detiorate that a

change in enzymes and dosage would be needed. Since your burnout you

have not needed to adjust them. I would think that with your burnout

and my panc removed we would pretty much be producing the same amount

of natural enzymes..none. I was just wondering if there would be a

chance of building up a tolerance to these prescribed enzymes after a

time and maybe that is the cause of my discomfort. How long has it

been since your burn out? Its been a while hasn't it, more then a

year right?

I do think that I am a little over cautious these days. I may just

be over thinking it all. I mean everybody gets an upset stomach

sometimes, why should I be any different. I haven't been very

nauseas today and have not taken any zofran, so I look at that as a

good sign. I have also only take 3 dialudids all day, so I look at

that as a positive thing too. I am unusually tired tho, and have

been sleeping a lot. Thats rather unsual for me as I haven't slept

that much in some time. Well I'm not getting any younger...LOL.

Maybe I am just over thinking all these thigns and just need to

relax.

My fasting blood sugars have been less then 121 since last friday and

I think that is a very good sign. did say that pain will

increase ones blood sugar. So maybe my islets are finally waking up

from that last anesthesia and having my pain under control is helping

it along. I'm going to try to stay off the meds as long as possible

tomorrow if I can.

The last few days have been very hectic with this little hurricane.

We have areal mess out there now and the stupid thing is just sitting

off the coast blowing up a gale all day with driving rain. Looks

like its not going anywhere very fast. Well at least its just an

itty bitty hurricane. Piece of cake.

Did ya'll get your yellow ribbon up today. I was thinking about you

and can only imagine how you must feel. No matter how old they get

they are still our babies and we are still going to worry about

them. We have to its in the Moms rule book...LOL.

Take care and talk soon

Love,

Chrissy
