Guest guest
: I spent the first two or so years of having cp taking various forms of oxycodone, including up to 120 mgs. three times a day of oxycontin. That was until about a year ago, when this medication just didn't seem to work near as well as it did, I was nauseas all the time, and I was flaky even more of the time...This was when my pain management doctor introduced me to methadone. I take 30-40 mgs. 3 times a day...I feel like my old self, not as flaky...but hardly any nauseas and my pain is very well controlled. I use Actiq pops for breakthrough pain...which I am sweating out that they are going to restrict to only patients with cancer, because they work great and instantly for breakthrough pain. I hope this might be another option for you. Good Luck! Robin R.
