Guest guest
I don't see why not. There are lots of mayo recipes on the internet that use wine vinegar or cider vinegar. mom to -12 SCd 4/23/04 > > Can someone tell me if it's ok to use apple cider vinegar instead of > white vinegar to make the Mayo receipe at scdrecipes.com ? > > Patti G. >
Guest guest
Hmm, I'm not sure about the apple cider vinegar; I've never tried that before. I do know that you can substitute lemon juice for the vinegar. That is what we use and it works great. Guest guest
Hi Patti G. Yes, apple cider vinegar is legal - just check the ingredients. It gives mayo a totally different tatse. If you aren't sure if you'll like it just try a small batch the first time and see if you like it. At two months it depends on your symptoms. I'd try a little and see how you do with it. I use mayo in salads, on burgers, to make cheese sauce, with veggies. Sometimes I add spices to the mayo to make salad dressings.
