I don't see why not. There are lots of mayo recipes on the internet

that use wine vinegar or cider vinegar.

Hmm, I'm not sure about the apple cider vinegar; I've never tried that

before. I do know that you can substitute lemon juice for the vinegar.

That is what we use and it works great.

Myself and 2 kids are SCD, hubby is slowly transitioning to it.

Conditions we are treating successfully with SCD: Hashimoto's

Thyroiditis (autoimmune), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia,

Rheumatoid Arthritis, IBS, ADHD, chronic diarrhea, yeast/candida, and

salicylate intolerance.

Hi Patti G.

Yes, apple cider vinegar is legal - just check the ingredients.

It gives mayo a totally different tatse.

No, meaning it just tastes different. If you aren't sure if you'll

like it just try a small batch the first time and see if you like it.

At two months it depends on your symptoms. I'd try a little and see

how you do with it.

I use mayo in salads, on burgers, to make cheese sauce, with

veggies. Sometimes I add spices to the mayo to make salad dressings.
