Dr. Lehman/Cotton and some questions

Hi All,

I made the appointment with Dr. Lehman for Oct. 24 and 25th ( is the

ERCP )...The nurse said I need someone to go with me for my ERCP the

25th...My family is not dependable in Ohio... I can get a cab to a hotel

room and that will be ok with the staff ? Or me calling social

services to get that kind of help..I do well after ERCP's so far..I am

worried about this one. I think my stent is still in and it's causing my

A1C's to go haywire and my Platelets.. I put on 40 pounds..So I do not

know what will happen with my body that is..LOL

All I need to do is not drive after because of drugs..So I'm trying to

figure out the best plan...

The nurse said this is your 5th ERCP? I said I'm sure you have seen more

she said yes, we have some who have had 10..I was going to say..LOL

Plan B: I would cancel and make appointment in the spring..Then my

brother could go..He'll be just getting back form Ca. for his job. I

don't want to ask him to leave for Ind. just after returning from Ca.We

share a house together in Ga.

I am coming home to Ohio in Oct. for my nieces wedding. I thought well

I'd do two things at once.

Has anyone gone to Lehman's by themselves and had an ERCP? IF so what

did you do?

I had to laugh..I called Dr. Cotton's nurse and she made it clear they

could not see me unless I had a GI refer me. And it can't be....

my family doctor either..I said well what if your GI doesn't hear

you...She said you work it out with your GI..I thought ok...LOL...

Night and Day with Lehman's office and Cotton's Office...Thank God for

Lehman..

When did they change this business about having a GI refer you? My

family doc sends me to Dr. Cotton, although it was a GI doc that

sent me in the beginning.
