Hey all. I would like to share something with you. Kathleen has been kind

enough to share her Art with me. Her Art pertains to pancreatitis and it's

related issues. Please take a look at the page and let me know what you think.

If anyone would like to have a page built for them with your Art on there,

please let me know. I hope this finds you and yours well. Mark.

The Art page can be found at http://www.top5plus5.com/Pancreas/Art/Art.htm

Mark,

Thank you for the time and effort you spend on making this a

valuable message board, as well as always " beefing up " the top 5

page.

I love the art, Kathleen. Thank you for sharing, as it helps me

hear your inner voice. The art also helps me to know that I am not

the only one confused, torn, broken, angry, and throughout those

emotions seeing a ray of hopefulness (no matter how small or dim it

is, thank g-d it is there). It is nice to know as miserable,

lonely, and scared as I am there are people who are worse off than

me. I mean look at the tradegy of New Orleans...suffering knows no

color, race, gender, and religion. (No matter how angry I become at

people, I would never wish this disease upon my worse enemy.)

I am really doing a disservice to myself by not keeping a journal,

seeking out therapy (it's way to tough to schedule things when the

panc is rearing its ugly head, neck, and body, save the tail!),

working out (as was my primary source of getting the led out), or

cutting off ties of people who just walked away from what I thought

to be, very special, meaningful " friends " . I want to get these

horrific, tortuous 9 months of pain, unemployment, depression, and

illness behind me. I am ready to move away from this part of my

life and I certainly don't want to reminisce upon it when I get

well.

I am sure some of you know that I am now a week and a half away from

my Whipple. My parents are taking me to Boston on the 27 of Sept.

Clinical appointment, EKG, blood, urine, etc. on the 28th and

surgery the 29th (one of my niece's birthday, isn't that a good

omen???).

Hope everyone is well.

Go gators!
