Do you take Miralax. It helps balance out the fluid in your intestinal

tract and helps with diahrrea as well as constipation. Maybe if you

can slow your bowells down a little bit then some of what your eating

can be absorbed instead of just shooting straight through. If you get

my drift. I used to have the same problem with diahrrea and

steatorhrrea. It seem within minutes of eating I had to excuse myself

to the rest room.

I had terrible malabsorbtion and was diagnosed with Kwashiokor. For

real. Miralax has helped me out trememdously. It is a non-addictive,

tasteless, textureless powder that can be dissolved in any liquid. I

have even had it with water when I couldn't tolerate much else. You

can only get it with a prescription but it would be well worth the

trouble. I take it every day still and would never want to run out.

I hope this helps and you are feeling better soon.

Warmly,

(SC)

Hey, thank you but I have taken Miralax for about five years.

It doesn't help one way or the other. The megacolon is so bad that I can

not afford to allow the food to stay too long or it will rupture. I

really am in a catch twenty two. It just continues and sometimes I just

get to the point that I think I just can't take this anymore. With the

megacolon, CF, and CP, it is a little much. Thank you for thinking of

me. Please let me know what else you may think. Blessing to you. Deb
