Guest guest
Hi; I have a question about the pancreatic enzymes. I read that they should also be taken with the snacks. My wife is on Creon and she takes two of them (each 25.000) with every meal. Should Creon also be taken when you eat fruits (apple, peach, banana etc.) or drink a glass of milk. We usally have them one or two hours after dinner when sitting in front of TV. If the answer is yes, isn't Creon 25.000 too much? Should we have a less version of Creon for using with the snacks? We have also Creon 10.000 here in Turkey. But it doesn't help with standard meals. Thanks; Mehmet --------------------------------- Yahoo! kullaniyor musunuz? Istenmeyen postadan biktiniz mi? Guest guest
Hi Mehmet. I take 2 Creon with meals. If it is an unusually large meal or a lengthy coursed meal I will take another Creon an hour or 2 later during the meal. I also will take 1 Creon with snacks; such as the fruit or crackers and milk as you mentioned. If I do not take it, then my stomache will let me know and it is not too pleasant. I have also found that taking the Creon with a full glass of water a few minutes before I dine helps a lot with the gassiness that it can produce. But thats just me. I hope this helps.
