Hello,

I've made several bread and muffin recipes using almond flour, but I find they

make me gag.

Could coconut flour be subsituted? Could anyone tell me if they have found

another type of

flour that has more of a " normal " flour taste? Is manioc flour, used in chebe

bread (cheese

bread) legal? It is made from the manioc root, also known as yucca and cassava.

Thanks.

Hi Sue,

Sorry, yucca, cassava, and coconut flour are all

illegal.

There are other nut flours and alternatives such as

pecan meal and cashew butter. It's possible it's too

early in the diet for nuts, including almond four.

How long have you been on SCD?
