Guest guest
Hi, I was wondering if any of you give goat's milk only? I would like to try it with my 2 yr. old son instead of making the yogurt. Thank you
Guest guest
No, I'm sorry. No milk is allowed. It contains lactose, a sugar that must be avoided. It would not be a good substitute for yogurt in any case, because the yogurt contains very beneficial bacteria to help heal the gut. You can make your own homemade nut milk to drink after some healing has occurred, but again, you would still want to make the yogurt so that you would get the beneficial bacteria. mom to -12 SCd 4/23/
Guest guest
The reason I asked is because I was reading Amy Lansky's book 'Impossible Cure'. She removed cow's milk and replaced it with goats milk. I have tried to make a few SCD recipes for my 2 yr old but he just refused to eat any of them. He is on the GFCF diet and just loves his carbs. He is sensitive to eggs, almond and bananas. I have been treating his allergies with NAET so I don't know if the SCD diet will agree with him just yet. He has high yeast and is currently on ketocanozole. I will keep trying to get him to eat less carbs. Thanks all. > > No, I'm sorry. No milk is allowed. Guest guest
Hi " pwigirl " <lilmazzarulli, The info at this link explains why goat's yogurt (SCD legal) is even better than goat's milk (SCD illegal). http://pecanbread.com/new/yogurt1.html#goatcow Sheila, SCD Feb. 2001, UC 23 yrs, PCOD 22yrs mom of and > > The reason I asked is because I was reading Amy Lansky's > book 'Impossible Cure'.
