Fliss,

Sorry to hear that you've had some bad times lately. I think it was a

tough summer for many, perhaps we're all due for a change for the

better, eh?

I start all my annual testing, lab work, bone density, blood work,

EKG, CT-scan and all that fun stuff at the end of the month. Since my

osteoporosis in the hip was confirmed last year, I'm hoping that it

shows some improvement from the medication I've been taking for the

last 12 months. My spine was still showing osteopenia, so I hope that

hasn't deteriorated any more, too. Is your osteoporosis in both

areas, or only one? I've not heard of these shots that you can have

for it, I'll have to ask my GI about those. Can't really say that I'd

care to have any more sticks that I already do, though, geeeeez!

In spite of your less than ideal news, it IS good to hear from you

again. We've missed you these past many months, and hope that you'll

have some more time now to keep in touch more often. I trust that Jim

is feeling and doing well, and continues to.

With love, hope and prayers,

Heidi
