Guest guest
Hi everyone, I just wanted to say thankyou to those who posted ideas about sneaky meat and veggies, my son had been hunger striking for about 5 days when I popped in the food processor chicken and carrots and zucchini and pumpkin, mixed it up really fine and then set it in plain gelatin and a couple of teaspoons of honey, he has been eating it ravenously, along with ice smoothies which I have also put meat and veggies into with diluted juiced ripe pear (no skin no seeds),it mostly tastes like pear juice - he is definatley making up for the hunger strikes now! His character has changed so much he is a different boy so much more placid for the past couple of days(aside from a banana incident the other day when I was rudley reminded of why we are doing this, man it is just like a drug addict getting to thier fix, biting, throwing, scratching and looking for anything he could cut or hit me with to get to the bananas, after I found hed worked out the lock on the pantry door and could squeeze bananas through, hed had four), so Im busily rereading Elaine's book again, but yeah just wanted to say a big thankyou for the gelatin and smoothie ideas they have been a godsend.
