Guest guest
For oxylate issues, you may want to look into the Vit K protocol. It addresses the underlying problems with oxylates without the need for a strict low oxalate diet and is very compatible with SCD (just don't do the VSL#3 probiotics which are not SCD legal, but you can use alternatives that are). Guest guest
Please read here: http://www.pecanbread.com/new/ox1.html And I agree with that you could investigate the Vitamin K protocol. Just be sure you have your child well-established on SCD before beginning the vitamin K protocol. mom to -12 SCd 4/23/
Guest guest
Oh yes, good advice . It would definitely be a good idea to be well-established on SCD before starting the K. I wish that we could have waited a little longer before starting it, but our teeth were literally deteriorating. I felt I had to start earlier than I would have liked because of that. Having had that experience, I definitely recommend waiting until you are well-established on SCD if you can. Guest guest
Hi, , The best thing would be for you to have them start SCD without any dairy and then try the goat yogurt after 4 months on the diet. You start with a very small amount--1/8 of a teaspoon and watch for reactions. mom to -12 SCD
