Guest guest
The last two times I have been to MUSC were in October, so I am not worrying about it. I have been there just about every month of the year. I am sure Dr. Cotton will see me. I had heard he was cutting back referrals too. My GI doc that I use to have, when I was sick last year, told me that she didn't want to refer me there because he probably would not see me anyway she heard. I told her that was not right that I was an established patietn and had my PCP do the referral. no problem. This was the GI doc though that I had had for 7 years who sent me a letter out of the blue dumping me because I was " too sick " for her and needed care by a " group. " I have found out since then, that she has done this on many, many occasions with other patients. When they get too sick, she dumps them. I think she needs to be run out of business. She only wants to do colonoscopies and other procedures for the " money. " Makes me sick. Enough of that. I am on my way to the pain management doc today. Gotta get out of here. That is another problem I need to write about soon. It is a major joke. Later Kaye In pancreatitis , " " <cdrrn@c...> wrote: > You are so right. Guest guest
Kaye, a doc told me the same thing. He said something like, " You are too sick for me to take care of. I don't know enough about what is wrong with you. " The guy was a Gastroenterologist.
