Hi Heidi,

Professor Fraser just suggested straightaway that I should have the

treatment via injection because of my digestive problems.

I'm going to read up all about it and post more info, especially as

a few people have e-mailed me privately as well. I hadn't realised

it was unusual to have the injections. I simply assumed the

treatment was readily available in both oral and injection form and

I was being given the latter because of panc probs.

Thanks for your good wishes and nice comments. I too hope to be more

involved again, especially if I retire this year!

I'll certainly have more to say soon about the mutational analysis

for high-risk cancer patients. I need to sort out the facts about

the current state of knowledge on pre-cancerous changes when I next

speak to Prof Neoptolemos.
