It would definitely be a good idea to be well-established on SCD before starting the K. I wish that we could have waited a little longer before starting it, but our teeth were literally deteriorating. I felt I had to start earlier than I would have liked because of that. Having had that experience, I definitely recommend waiting until you are well-established on SCD if you can.
