Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm a long time sufferer of chronic pancreatitis since 1996. Is there anyone out there that has played with or gotten into taking colloidal silver solution as a preventative against bacterial infections? I stumbled onto it when I had two major pancreatitis operations two years ago and I had an attack of colitis wherein the doctors wanted to disconnect my colon and put a colostrum(?) bag on me for six months. I got the doctors steered away from the operation and they treated me with antibiotics for three weeks with no real success. A friend I'd met during one of my hospital stays talked to me at length about the merits of colloidal silver. I made some, treated myself and " cured " the colitis. The doctors were surprised needless to say and I've been using it ever since. The reason I'm bringing this up in this forum is that I've been using it for almost two years now and I have had a marked reduction in the number and duration of severe pancreatic attacks. It may be due to the colloidal silver or it may be due to the operations two years ago. I do believe that bacterial infections, no matter how small, have contributed to my past severe episodes with pancreatitis. There's a lot of information on the internet if anyone is interested in it and please feel free to email me direct at jim@... and I'll try to answer your questions. God Bless all of you, Jim
Guest guest
I've heard of this too but never tried it. How could it help the pancreas? Eileen
Guest guest
Jim: Would you please send me what you know and what I need to do. I'm VERY interested in hearing about this as I am sick pretty much 24/7 lately. My husband asked once if it could be treated with antibiotics and the doc looked at him like he had three heads...well, maybe he did one that was actually PERCEIVING something!!! Thanks, and my email is: darrow3@... (please put something about pancreatitis in the subject line though ok so I don't dump it should it go to my bulk mail!!) > Hi everyone, > > I'm a long time sufferer of chronic pancreatitis since 1996. > Is there anyone out there that has played with or gotten into > taking colloidal silver solution as a preventative against > bacterial infections? Guest guest
Me too! I have read a lot about it for years, but it is so expensive. Guest guest
I just did a search on colloidal silver and saw something that scared the cra* out of me!! Apparently, this woman had been given colloidal silver as a child in a nose drop sort of thing..I think for allergies. But then her skin started turning GRAY!! They had pictures and everything!! It never went away despite seeing a dermatologist and even undergoing dermabrasion. Her skin was LITERALLY gray!! Really scared me though so I guess that's out as a possible alternative. Speaking of alternatives..has anyone had any experience with a powdered solution that you mix with water or fruit juice called ReLiv? The reason I ask is that my youngest sister is taking the stuff now and so is her best friend AND best friend's two children that both have CF. There are allkinds of success stories with this stuff...and she keeps asking me to take it but as you can understand, VERY leery about putting something thru the digestive tract. Thanks > > > Hi everyone, > > > > > > I'm a long time sufferer of chronic pancreatitis since 1996. > > > Is there anyone out there that has played with or gotten into > > > taking colloidal silver solution as a preventative against > > > bacterial infections?
