Guest guest
Today I went to my pcp for my two month check up. My weight loss is 26 lbs. My sugar is under control now without meds. My blood pressure is 130/70. I am feeling better and I am more active than I have been in years. That's the good news. However, before going to see my pcp I read on this site about one who just lodt 58 lbs. in two months. I have seen where many others have lost simular amounts. Some who have lost 120 and 130 lbs in 9 or 10 months. This is what I was hoping for. As it turns out, Dr. R. discovered that I had a bad liver and wasn't able to do my bypass. He did reduce my stomach to two ounces. I will therefor losr weight more slowly and will have a greater capacity for food. I was about to become discouraged until I found some others on this site who had simular experiences and are still successful. This is why it is so important that we continue to share our experiences with each other. If there are any others who are not losingas fast as the normal patients, please share it. Thanks for listening. Tommy Ballou MGB 10-04-00 317 lbs. (11-01-00 298 lbs. 19 lbs lost) (11-29-00 291 7 more lbs. lost) total loss 26 lbs. __________________________________________________
