Guest guest
Hi I have a review on Thursday with my accident people re my head injury. I am a little worried about this and what to expect. They will asses my job and what has been holding me back and my diagnosis of post concussion syndrome. I am not sure what to tell them What landed me back in hospital last time was the stress of my boss he was texting me at night and weekends saying I hadn't done things and emailing me at home. This would cause my headache to go up and it went up to an 8 on the Thursday I was admitted this would then set off my pancreas.. or as they put it my unknown pain of unknown origin. They say no definite test so can't say. I am open to any ideas debs
Guest guest
Debs, Not knowing the full details of your head injury, I dont know what you'd need to tell them, but why not the truth? Guest guest
Hi Heidi I will be telling them that the head injury( done at work a car boot company car with no gas in the struts on my station wagon fell hit my head and it hit the towbar gashign my head) has been excerbated by my boss harassing me eg out of work hours to do work and that that lead to my recent hospital admission. This has been written on my medical reports from my doctor to the work programme who are tryign to help me get back to fulltime work and they pay me This pain from my headache seems to trigger my panc attacks I guess this is the same for others stress and other medical things triggering an attack? I just hope that they dont foucs on my panc problems because I knwo that before this head inury I was under control and the stress from my boss through this ha smade my stress and pain worse debs > Debs, > > Not knowing the full details of your head injury, I dont know what > you'd need to tell them, but why not the truth? > > With love, hope and prayers, > Heidi > > Heidi H. Guest guest
Debs, I would be telling them that exactly what had been happening...your boss had been emailing you and texting you personally about having to do work, and loading the work on you when you were supposed to be resting to combat this head injury, and the stress of him not complying was worrying you and causing stress to build up and the tension of all of that became so bad that it caused a relapse into your pain and you had to be readmitted to hospital for 2 weeks. Explain you were increasingly concerned about the amount of work he was expecting you to do and the hours he wanted you to work when you were supposed to be resting and getting your strength back, allowing your body to heal, but then was worried that your job would be in jeopardy because of his ignorance of your work compensation details. And that if he had complied with the hours you were supposed to be kept to, your healing process more than likely would not have been prolonged due to this latest attack. Let them know you are eager to go back to work, but unfortunately there has been other factors hampering this goal. Regards,
Guest guest
you always seem to put in all in a nutshell, my ability to think clearly has been im[acted by all of this, but you are right, all the jobs 4 I passed to him he didnt do and then I got cust omer complaints because they thought I had not done the work. I dont wanna lose my job I understand this guy will confirm diagnosis and talk about aspects of my job I mean in th efirst week I wa supposed to do 9 hours he ha dme do 18 hours, none of my worklod is picked up when I am away it is all waiting on my computrer when I get back eg the last 2 weeks is there and I have been supposed to be able to do 40 hours in 20 hours ongoing none has been picked up. I wish he woudl get his karma. I am worried they will write me off as emotional which i am not normally and that I may at worst lose myjob. he is an occupational phsyician. The compo lady told me to tell him what the boss has been doing. My pain psych suggested what he was doing was harassment as they wanted to know why i thougt I had ended up in such pain. I know that, as I said after thinking that I wouldnt have bene ther ethat stress with this caused headcahes bad then it triggered my old pain abdo pain and it spiralled out of control or at least i couldnt control it I wish I had the courage to tell my boss he is a bully pure and simple.
