Guest guest
I was feeling very introspective at the time of the MGB surgery. Maybe fear that once again this was not going to work keep me from getting involved with everyone else. I think I was the first surgery that morning at about 8:45am. So I wasn't around before. I had a really easy time of it all no nausea and some serious button pushing to keep myself asleep most of the time. Rikki and Gwen did come to visit me that night and I started to realize maybe I should have excepted more support instead of just lurking and keeping to my self. It was easy for me because I am local so was in a hurry to get home to my own bed and see my 2 children. Well sort of children one is 14 and one is 18. Who were great and supportive along with my dear husband. My small result has made me feel like I should spread the world and help others. My psyhciatrist wants me to talk to several of her other patients. How many of us thought we were fat because we were depressed. We are depressed because we are fat and the world lets us know this is unexceptable. I can't wait until I am normal. I hope I can forgive those who have been mean or dimissive in the past. But I might just say " Eat your heart out " Congraduations to you my littermates I'm glad Rikki is okay and Gwen has had her MGB done. Sincerely JO
