Guest guest
I did research yesterday and Protonix also causes pancreatitis as well as hepatobiliary problems. So in a person such as myself who has sphincter of Oddi dysfunction that is a double whammy. I have been taking Protonix for two years. I don't have GERD or anything. Needless to say, I stopped it immediately. Kaye In pancreatitis , TazLady21@c... wrote: > Jerry, > > The only acid blocker that causes pancreatitis that I can find is PRILOSEC. Guest guest
I routinely monitor the discussions that go on, but seldome respond. My son (age 12), diagnosed January 2005 and already having undergone a Frey Procedure was just put on Protonix. Thank you so much for the warning!! So far it has only helped, but it is so useful to hear these comments. I have so much to learn from you guys...keep the info coming!!!!!
