Guest guest
dear Sheila, your message last week was very comforting because you assumed that she was going to get better when I was already seeing all the struggle of last year again, with medicines and hospitals. She had some blood in her stools for another day, the consistence of the stools was normal, even if still a bit thin. I gave her some soup made with spinach and zucchini to help with constipation. She had broiled chicken and broiled veal alternately for 4 or 5 days and chicken or organic beef soup. The constipation got better and the blood is not visible anymore. She has 2 table spoons of yoghurt and diluted apple juice for breakfast. You may be right to say that she might have some yeast overgrowth because she has a fungus on her skin that does not go with topic treatments but I am waiting to start any treatment until I feel confident with her bowels. Perhaps the fungus and the yeast are not related . Anyway, thank you for your calm and ready answers Ciao Stefania mother to (16 Yold) UC 8 years, SCD 5 months (great results). Husband Hugo UC 2 years, SCD 5 months (no symptoms since then)
Guest guest
Hello Stefania, Thank you the update. I am so glad to hear that she is improving : ) I agree that it is a good idea to get her stabilized before starting a yeast treatment.
