Teena,

I had one of those days

yogurt didn't cook

this is probably a dumb question, but I hate to waste the goat

milk-apparently my yogurt maker died. the light is on so I thought it

was working, but the milk is cold. so-after 24 hours I probably have

to throw away $6 worth of goat milk, huh? I hate to....any thoughts

on a good, long lasting yogurt maker?

any sympathy would be appreciated-thsi has been a very bad day, and

it's only 11am

Teena,

I had one of those days a couple of weeks ago (2 days in a row). I burned,

destroyed, ruined and otherwise messed up just about everything I touched.

Among that was $24 worth of raw goat milk that I had traveled 150 miles round

trip to get. My husband finally said, " don't do anything else. " My day just

couldn't get better. So, my SCD son ate stuff I had frozen and I ate at my

sister's house. She felt sorry for me. I finally got out of that terrible

phase. BTW, I love my Excalibur dehydrator for making yogurt. So easy and

carefree. But expensive too.

Hi, Teena,

If the milk still smells good (you can taste it if you personally are

not on SCD), you can heat it again to 180F and add more starter and

try again.
