Guest guest
My son has been basically eating the intro soup for about 4 days. I tried to get him to eat a hamburger patty broiled and a small bit of banana but he just wants the soup. He did ask for an apple and I cut it up and gave him a couple bites yesterday and today and I did make him eat a couple bites of banana. Now he has a red rash all around his mouth and it looks very sensitive. Also his eyes look really red around the outside. Do you think it could possibly be related to adding the apple or banana back in? He never had this type of reaction to these foods before. Could it be related to yeast die off? He has had very glassy eyes for the last day and a half. I did not cook the apple. Unfortunately he will not and I mean will not eat cooked fruits of any kind. The only other thing he has had is diluted oj about 90% water. I was just a little concerned and wondered if I should continue the soup for a couple more days then add one thing in at a time. I allow him to eat all the soup he wants and he basically is eating about every two and a half to three hours but I feel like he really needs to since this is all he is getting right now. He has always been a good eater so I am a little worried that he will not even eat hamburger now which was one of his favorite foods before. Is this something others have seen when starting the intro. Just need a little encouragement. Thanks, __________________________________________________

After I started the diet my skin became very red and sensitive, it cleared up after a few days. I believe it was my bodies' way of detoxing. Epsom salt baths and or activated charcoal may help. http://pecanbread.com/new/temporarysymptoms.html Symptoms are listed on this page along with instructions for epsom salts and act. charcoal.
