Guest guest
Hi , Wow! That makes alot of sense what you are saying about the liver...my liver test always have come back bad...always. I had hepititis, don't know which letter, in 83, and my liver just never seemed to get back to " normal " . I sure will ask my doctor when I call him in the morning. And its the same way with me, it seemed like my blood sugar would go very low when I was on the amaryl, at different times, for no apparant reason, that I know of anyways. I just don't like the stuff very well! I will discuss all your suggestions with him! Thanks alot for answering me so quickly. You are a great friend! I hope your week hasn't been to awful on you! Thanks a ton, again! Lots of Hugs,
Guest guest
, your problems with the amaryl do make even more sense in light of the fact that you had hepatitis in the past. Have the doctors checked your liver enzymes or other labs that might indicate a liver problem lately? AST, ALT, Alkaline Phosphotase, and GGT I do agree with that you should probably contact the doctor tomorrow and let him know you cannot tolerate the amaryl. I think some of the oral diabetes meds might not be as long acting as amaryl. Anyway, glad I was able to help. Let me know what your doctor says. Guest guest
I think the last time my liver test were done was when I was in the hospital in March when they found out I was diabetic. I haven't had any other liver test since then, I don't think. I will make sure I ask the doctor about this when I call too. Thanks alot for all your help! I was so confused & thinking I was crazy! You & have really helped me, and I will be forever grateful! I will be sure to let you know what the doctor says. Thanks again!
