I take two 40 mg. pills of Protonix each morning before I eat

anything. That's the only time I take them. Then before I eat, I

take 5 Viokase-16 tablets with a meal, and 3 - 4 Viokase-16 tablets

with any snack during the day. I don't snack very often, and usually

only have lunch and dinner. I've been fortunate to not have any

problems with nausea on a regular basis like so many do. The only

time I have nausea or vomiting is before and during an acute attack.

The rest of the time it never bothers me.

I wouldn't think that more Prilosec would help control Chris' nausea.

If he only eats one meal a day, what he takes now sounds appropriate.

It sounds like he needs to be on an anti-nausea medication, like

Phenergen, or something similar.
