Guest guest
Hi Matt, Sorry to hear of your problem. I've had the same thing in an insurance application I've tried to get processed for three years with different companies but as soon as they have an indication of pancreatitis they all get cold feet. I can only suggest trying to get coverage on someones group coverage as a dependent, spouse, student, etc. What you might be trying for is to get coverage by flying under the radar of a very large policy writer wherein you don't have to fill out an application or at least a very brief application. Best wishes, Poncho - GA
Guest guest
Matt, Have you talked to anyone about TennCare? I don't really know anything about it except that it is sort of TN's version of medicaid. There is some sort of income limit but it's higher than in a lot of other states. I'm not sure who you would talk to but I would think it would be the same office that handles welfare assistance and stuff like that. I live in Alabama but my stepdaughter lived in TN for a while. Her mother, stepfather, and their other kids were covered by TennCare even though they had child support coming in for and her half-sisters and SS for her stepdad's two sons (their mother was killed in a car wreck), and her stepdad was working on a job. I may be totally wrong, but it's certainly worth checking into it. I wish you the best. W
