Guest guest
Does he have special textures he likes? we've made some peanut butter cookies that TOm likes, mixed nuts, peanut butter, a ripe banana, bit of legal vanilla. Quite high calorie. TOm likes dry - crunchy, it's a challenge! > > hi, > my 7 year old has now been on the diet for 9 days we > started with the chicken pancakes, i have been trying > to introduce new foods he didn't like apple sauce or > ripe bannana's he has autism so new foods are always > try and see, i am wondering we are only seeing very > loose stools and he is very tired but i am assuming > this is bacteria die off I am wondering how i know how > fast to introduce new foods dont want to do it too > fast but know shane likes the fruit muffins and > butternut sqaush pancakes, peanut butter as he had > this food prior to starting scd when i was trying to > cut down carbs i have looked on the website i just > wondered as there is not much in stage on he would > like > > melissaxx > mother to shane aged 7 with autism > scd for 9 days > > __________________________________________________ >

Guest guest
Hi, xx, Introduce a new food in a small quantity and then increase gradually. One new food every 3-4 days will give you a chance to see if your child is tolerating each food and to pull out the right thing if there is a reaction. Lots of kids like the Sneaky Veggie Pancakes on www.pecanbread.com. Did you try the banana pancakes in BTVC? mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
