advice please

hi,

my 7 year old has now been on the diet for 9 days we

started with the chicken pancakes, i have been trying

to introduce new foods he didn't like apple sauce or

ripe bannana's he has autism so new foods are always

try and see, i am wondering we are only seeing very

loose stools and he is very tired but i am assuming

this is bacteria die off I am wondering how i know how

fast to introduce new foods dont want to do it too

fast but know shane likes the fruit muffins and

butternut sqaush pancakes, peanut butter as he had

this food prior to starting scd when i was trying to

cut down carbs i have looked on the website i just

wondered as there is not much in stage on he would

like

Does he have special textures he likes? we've made some peanut butter

cookies that TOm likes, mixed nuts, peanut butter, a ripe banana, bit

of legal vanilla. Quite high calorie.

TOm likes dry - crunchy, it's a challenge!

would you mind posting that recipe for the cookies - are they soft, chewy or

crunchy?

hi

shane is really strange with textures he will eat some

things crunchy not crispy but also likes soft textures

too not bity thought he tends to like bland food like

chiken pancakes which he is living on right now, can

you send me the cookie recipe

Hi, xx,

Introduce a new food in a small quantity and then increase gradually.

One new food every 3-4 days will give you a chance to see if your child

is tolerating each food and to pull out the right thing if there is a

reaction.

Lots of kids like the Sneaky Veggie Pancakes on www.pecanbread.com.

Did you try the banana pancakes in BTVC?
