Guest guest
Hi, I am Susie and I gave the Pumpkin Pudding recipe to the group. I am so happy that you all like it so much. I have many great recipes for us to have. I just want to know what is the most enjoyable food for everyone. I know that desserts and main dishes are great to have recipes for all. I have a NON fat cookbook too that has recipes but I make up my own like the Pumpkin Pudding. I can not tolerate any diary products. I have been off them for 2 months and it has helped me SO much with the PC and my intestinal track. Maybe that would help someone to feel better like me. I have suffered with CP for 15 years and had 3 ERCP's with stents. I have normal LFT's and Amylase and Lipase levels now. I feel better than I have in 15 years. I don't know but I just thought that I would share it with everyone. I still can not eat fat, spices, citrus. I eat only 10% fat a day and I watch it VERY carefully. I do enjoy a shrimp cocktail and some potato baked when I go out to eat dinner with my husband. I was so bad before that I weighed 97lbs and I had a J-tube for feeding. I am now only using the J-tube for Miralax and flushing it with water daily. I know it sounds crazy but it has helped me so much I wanted everyone to know about it. I am a retired RN so I do believe in the objective mainstream medical community but they are not very well versed in nutrition. I eat at least 25gm. of Soy Protein a day. I take 1500 mg. of Calcium and 750mg. of Magnesium each day along with a good Multi-Vitamin but that is for each person to decide. Hope that this helps and let me know about the recipes that you may like to have. I have studied nutrition for 20 years so I make a lot of recipes for the fat and protein content.
