Guest guest
So...my pain after my gallbladder surgey has not gone away, but gotten worse. My GP had a MRCP done because my GI doc did'nt think I needed it. MY GP also wants my GI to do a colonoscopy. On Thursday, my GI says she does'nt think I need a colonoscopy ( I do and said so) and wants to do an endoscopy AGAIN (I had one 2 months ago) SHe still thinks it's my stomach. She sent me home with Nexium and Elavil. SHe said the Elavil helps with the pain. I'm not too keen on taking either. I just took myself off the Protonix and so far, so good. A little bit of sourness, but not really bad GERD. And I'm extremely sensitive to antidepressants. Last time I took one, it was Zoloft. It made the walls move in and out and my boyfriend's face turned into an evil clown face. It was frightening. Thank god I am going to see someone who knows something about the pancreas soon. Take a look at him: http://umg.umdnj.edu/public/directory/doctor.asp?doctor=504120358 So the endoscopy is at the end of this month. And I see the specialist November 3rd. Why does it take forever to get tests done and to be seen? I am very, very depressed. This pancreas problem came out of the blue. I don't know why or how. The gallbladder surgery did not solve the problem. Eileen
