Yeast flare?? She has a swollen neck

My daughter has her neck swollen right around the lower part of her

neck to both sides. It feels pretty mushy.. there is fluid there.

No pain or other symptoms...i dont believe this to be allergy.

She has been off of probiotics for 2 weeks...i just received more...i

gave her 2 capsules yestereday and 1 today. her neck started to swell

a bit on tuesday. She is taking no other supplements..and can't eat

yogurt. She saw a Dan on oct 22..he told us she was full of yeast...we

are waiting for the microbial oat panel test to come back so we know

how to treat the yeast.

Her neck is a bit more swollen today...as now it is swollen a bit

around the sides of her neck. She has no symptoms just swelling.

I am bringing her to the doctor today...but i'm wondering if this is

yeast if they might just give her some useless medication.

So can you get yeast to accumulate in your neck?

Hi Cathy,

I don't know if yeast can accumulate like that. The yeast may

affect parts of the body to become inflammed though.

Could it be swelling in her lymphnoids or lymph glands?

If it doesn't go down shortly It would probably be best to see a

physician.

Please, let us know what happens.

I think it has something to do with her thyroid glands...

as it is too low down.
