Guest guest
Hi; I'm sorry you are having such a rough go. Stress does take a physiological toll on our bodies. I remember in nursing school there was a list of the top life stressors; loosing aloved one, loosing a job, starting a job, divorce and moving were in the top ten. So please keep that in mind. I dont kn ow how moving back home with your family would be, but I could imagine that to be a huge stressor as well. I do hope you feel better soon and let me know what Dr. Lehman has to say. I am not sure how long stents can be left in, it depends on the stent. Nowadays, the short term stents that passes with your stools after 2-3 weeks are the most commonly used. I do know there are stents that can stay in longer, how long I dont recall, but they do have to be removed with another scope. Thats great news that the stent helped. Maybe you can discuss with him the possibility of using stents to stretch out your ducts. It would mean repetitive stenting over a period of time, but some folks have had success with that. Well take it easy, try to rest as much as you can, and dont force or let anybody else talk you into doing any more then you feel you can handle. I know I had a real hard time giving up my super woman cape and felt terribly guilty about that. Its still around and I can from time to time pull it out, dust it off, and shazammm! Super woman is back albeit for only a short time. Hopefully after seeing my doc on wednesday I will be able to bring it out more often. Warmly,
