They are worried that if it ruptures, there won't be time to do anything to help him. This is true, , in his case speed is necessary to avoid any chance of a rupture happening. I'm sure your doctor has precautioned you to watch for any signs of a temperature or increase in his pain, as those are the indicators of a rupture, and have to be dealt with IMMEDIATELY. Pseudocyst rupture is a scary business. Your doctor sounds great, taking care of all the business to set everything up so y'all don't have to worry about it or do anything but wait for the phone to ring! I'll keep you in my prayers.
