He must have his good points, since his reputation wouldn't be as well known as it is if he didn't have the qualifications to earn it. Apparently he has his good days and bad, just as everyone does. Why he would reject and disallow one patient's claims, and not another's, will still remain a mystery. Thus far I had only heard all the negative reports from other members after seeing him. Perhaps there is a certain criteria that the patient must meet in order for him to treat them or recommend them for treatment. And if this is the case, it would be helpful to know what his criteria is, to help those others seeking his advice in order to avoid such disappointment and financial expenditure. It's important for us to be able to hear both favorable and opposing views about physicians, if we can, when considering our health care. I would like to point out that it was not my idea to make a file of unfavorable doctors. This idea was proposed in a post by another member, but I have not followed up on it, nor do I intend to, as I don't believe it's correct for the Association to make this type of judgement. Yet, it is the right of any member to post their comments, pro or con, concerning a physician, so that we can hear all the information that's available. That's why I thank you for sending in your comment concerning Dr. Banks. There's always two sides to any story, and it's good to hear both! When I wrote to explaining to her that I'd heard that the same comments as hers concerning this doctor, I did so because I had heard them from other members in the past, and just wanted her to know this so she wouldn't feel as though she were the only one that had been treated this way. When you think you're the only one that something like that has happened to, you begin to doubt yourself, and I didn't want her to feel that way. She's got enough on her plate already, and doesn't need any more stressors. Again, thanks for your post. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
