Guest guest
Hi Mark: You know I find all of this very interesting but what I'd like to know is this: Has anyone else actually gained weight since they got sick? I've gained like 35 lbs and it's probably due to the fact that I eat mainly all starches, fat free but starches nonetheless, the fact that I'm not as active as I used to be (worked 40 hours and then worked out for 45 mins a day 5 days per week) AND the fact that I have a tremendous edema problem whereby my stomach is extremely bloated, my feet, calves, ankles and feet are also EXTREMELY bloated/swollen as well. I'd be interested to know if the above is true for anyone else. It sure is a bummer since the year and half prior to all of this I had lost about 75 or a bit more dieting and exercising in earnest (probably what blew my gall bladder out in retrospect!) and now I'm having to find all of my old " fat clothes " to wear again....
