what works for a cold sore in the cheek?

My son has a cold sore looking thing where his inside cheek and upper

gum line meet. I think it has been there for a few days or so. Not

sure how long. What SCD remedy is there? Can he gargle with diluted

hydrogen peroxide or is there something else? If so how much? It's

not healing and looks a little white today.

It would be ok to gargle with the hydrogen peroxide. We just suffer

through, so I don't have any special remedies.

ARE DOING GREAT.. YOU CAN ALSO BUY AN OINTMENT THAT CAN BE USED FOR BITES,

SORES, RASHES, ETC. HOPE THIS HELPS.

We alternate between warm salt water and peroxide for mouth washes several times

a day. If you have acidolphilus capsules, I would open one up and put it in

the mouth before bed and let it go to work. Pearl

Bonita, I would put it close but not on the sore. As the tongue moves around,

it will move the acidolpholus around the mouth. I recently read also that for

ear infections that you should put acidolpholus in the mouth before bed. I

think it was in one of thos free baby magazines. Pearl
