For me it is a natural and a universal aspect of being alive. Without it there would be no birds no bees and no people. While I don't want to read graphic sexual detail in an open list like this, broad sexual topics are not offensive to me. And, I don't want to offend anyone else. I don't want our sexual insights, thoughts, challenges or humor to upset anyone. I value all of the posters here and hope they feel the same about me. However, when you get a group of people from such diverse religious, geographic, and socioeconomic backgrounds you get just that DIVERSITY. We are all not going to agree on what is socially acceptable because our measuring sticks are vastly different. What is offensive to Bell is not necessarily offensive to me and what is offensive to me may not be offensive to Bell (although I doubt the latter because I am not easily offended). I feel it is naive to think that a group this large and diverse will be able to follow a strict Christian Moral Code when posting. Therefore, in order to accommodate the member's diversity, we become tolerant or we segregate ourselves into like minded populations. Perhaps, since our group has grown so large with so many differing viewpoints, a Christian MGB egroup would be a safe haven for those who are offended by sexual information. I am NOT saying anyone should leave this group, I am simply saying that in a " main " list such as this, toleration and acceptance is warranted and beneficial to the group as a whole. It is very easy to start an Egroup and I truly believe that an MGB Prayer Group or MGB Christians or MGB in God we Trust list would be an asset to all the religious folks who are interested in spending time with others of their same beliefs. I hope someone takes up my suggestion because I feel there is a great opportunity for fellowship and support on that list! And please understand that I am sincere in my hopes of everyone being comfortable and content with whatever list they are on.
