Hi Sandy-

I actually requested that article about the endo and pancreatitis

from my doctor today, and he is looking for it. I went to my OB/GYN

today and no surprise here, my endo is back again with a vengence. I

had a lap last October and he lazered the endo. Which makes me

wonder...I wasn't hospitalized after that procedure in October until

July 2005...not that I didn't have pain, it just seemed " more

manageable " than it does now. So the endo slowly came back, so did

my pain that I can't seem to get on top of. Ummm....things that make

me wonder. And I want to ask...is your pain worse during your

cycle? Lately, if I end up in the hospital, more than half the time

I am a day or two into my cycle. For so long I fought that

connection, mostly because I didn't want the doctors to label it as

PMS...now that they saw diagnosed as CP and proven it, I want them to

figure out what and why of the connection to not only help me but

other women that seem to have the same problem. I need to make a

decision in the future...have my uterus removed or keep it. My

problem is, estrogen caused an acute flare of pancreatitis that

landed me in the hospital. So hormones don't mix well with my

pancreas. Bottom line... I firmly believe that there is a connection

with endo and pancreatitis, at least for me. Now if we could just

prove it and figure out an answer!

Hugs,

Suzi B.
